Tutorial - Exclude Content Types

This tutorial demonstrates how easy it is to add content type exclusion rules to IISxpress. In this example IISxpress scans the web server directories for known content types, the user then selects which content types to exclude. When content types like image/jpg, image/gif and application/x-zip-compressed are excluded they are not compressed by IISxpress. You can exclude any content type you wish.
